New Year, New Business!
Twin Oaks Community, an intentional community of about 80 people in rural Virginia, is proud to announce the humble beginnings of a new business: Twin Oaks Ceramics!
Cliff and Marsha Losee, friends of the community, are generously donating a studio's worth of tools and supplies from Cliff's long career as a professional potter. Cliff is training Twin Oakers in using slipcasting techniques to make beautiful and useful ceramics products.
The ceramics studio will be set up in "Oz", formerly the varnishing center for Twin Oaks' patented hammock chairs
As you can see from the photo, we have our work cut out for us to transform this space into a functioning studio. We’re excited to complete renovations and get our work underway later this year!
